Dips are all the rage in our parties. Obviously, we can’t get enough of these wonderful dips. So as a way of showing some love, we’re sharing another dip recipe that you can enjoy.
C hickpea Dip with Vegetables
You will need:
2.5-oz. can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
1 cup plain low fat yogurt (equivalent to one 8 oz. container of yogurt)
½ tablespoon olive oil
1 carrot (grated)
2 cucumbers (peeled, diced, seeded)
¼ red onion, diced
2 Roma tomatoes (chopped)
2 tbp fresh lemon juice
3 drops hot pepper sauce
Procedure:
- Use your blender on the lemon juice, olive oil, hot sauce, and yogurt.
- Transfer dip to a serving bowl.
- Place colorful veggies on top. Make sure that some portion of your dip can be seen.
- You can also serve with some wheat bread or pita.
This dip recipe can serve 6.
